About Your Data

Cairn: Leave Your Mark enables community sharing and account-based features. When you create an account, we securely store your profile information, authentication credentials, and user-generated interactions.

You have full rights to request complete deletion of your account and all associated personal records at any time.

Option 1: In-App Account Deletion (Instant)

The fastest and most direct way to delete your account

You can immediately initiate and complete account deletion directly within the Cairn: Leave Your Mark app:

• Open the Cairn: Leave Your Mark app on your mobile device.

• Navigate to your Profile or Settings.

• Select Account.

• Tap Delete Account and confirm your choice.

In-app deletion takes effect immediately. Your authentication tokens, profile details, and private data are erased from our active database.

Web Account & Data Deletion Request

Cannot access the app? Email a deletion request to enquire@mycairn.space using the form below. We process requests within 30 days in accordance with Google Play Data Safety policies.

What Data Is Deleted vs. Retained

Permanently Deleted Data

• Account email & authentication credentials

• Profile username, display name & bio

• Drafts, saved bookmarks & private collections

• Push notification device tokens & IP logs

• Direct user preferences and local cache

Retention & Anonymization

• Contributions to existing cairns are anonymized to protect the journey chain for other discoverers without personal attribution.

• Temporary encrypted server backups (purged within 30 days).

• Records strictly required by law or fraud prevention.
